Default Bugeye sti 17" to 18"

Hi Guys

Can anyone tell me if they are any differences moving from the standard 17" wheels to 18" on my 02 Bugeye sti ??

Really fancy a set of Speedline Turni in 18" Anthresite. But dont want to ruin the ride or handling ??

Size i was looking at were 8x18" ET48 running 235/40 x18 Vredesteins.
Seen form member Frayz was running this spring & tyre size set up & it looked really nice.

The car will have whiteline flatout springs fitted.

Many Thanks

Hi

There is no problem fitting 18" wheels to a Bug STi. The correct tyre size for them is 225/40/18. 235s can be fitted but the rolling circumference is a bit bigger than the standard tyres so it will knock the speedo out a bit.
The ride is not altered much on a New Age by fitting 18", only on the Classics as the tyre size needed is very low profile.
Give me a shout for good Scoobnet member prices.

Thanks

Keith
