Default Juddering at heavy braking?

I have recently had new drilled discs and Kelvar pads fited all round plus a set of HEL lines and have got to admit they are sharpe and responsive to say the least.

I have bedded the discs and pads in for a about 200 miles and took the car for a burn the other night. What i noticed under heavy braking was juddering, sort of like the car wasnt braking in the straight line it was intented to do. Dont get me wrong the brakes were doing what they were supposed to do but I am sure it will disappear but am curious to know whether if its anything else.

Is this normal? Last week I had a set off ALK and geo done to improve the handling if thats helps.

Could be warped discs (not likely tho) unbalanced tyres, worn out ball joints.

Does the shaking happen when you accerlerate

cant be warped discs ruled that out straight away. Could be uneven/worn tyres. Does happen on acceration. I'll give it another go over the weekend and see if its still the same

if you'd really been kaneing the brakes it could have been a build of brake dust on the discs, but i've only ever encountered that on the track and it didn't alter the braking line

There may be run out on one of the discs, this can be checked with a dial gauge.

Edit: Along with all the above.

Sticking caliper pistons.

Am a Subaru noob, but I know that a certain Impreza model has the same front calipers as the Nissan 200SX (S14), which are renowned for the pistons corroding and sticking.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was sticky pots that was causing this, it was causing the exact symptoms on my 200SX.

Well lads, took the toy out (as its never really driven during the week) and did some tests. It seems to be braking better than when first posted. Not sure why I was expereincing this earlier on but seems to have gone away. Thanks you for your input
