Default Braided hoses

Hiya everyone,

Just wondered if anyone could tell me if the brake hoses for a 52 plate sti will fit a classic shape? Guessing they're different?

They are different , where the fit onto the front strut , the classics are held in place with a clip , the 2001 onwards cars are held in place with a bolt , you can fit the later hoses onto an early car using some penny washers and a nut and bolt

Thanks for the reply, will have to look out for some classic ones then, was only asking as there is a guy on ebay selling a new set but for 52 plate.

hi fella what brand you looking for? hel,goodridge or hks to name but a few!

ive got hel clear(you can get them in loads of colours and effects) on my ver5 sti wagon nice feel to pedal after fitting them, and had goodridge on my last wagon just as good as hel but fitted wasnt as nice! hel allows the pipe to slide throught the clip that holds it the strut!

Don't really mind what brand really as long as they are good quality, ok i'll have to find out how much they are then
