Caliper Lock Pin Torque Settings
Hello
Apologies for what is probably a fairly basic question, but have done lots of googling & searched through all sorts of forums without any joy...
I've got an '07 Hawkeye, and I'm trying to find out the torque settings for the bolt that connects the caliper back onto the brake housing (caliper lock pin bolts?). I'm changing the front discs & pads tomorrow, and can't find out what the torque settings should be for my model.
Closest I've come is this thread...
http://www.ehow.com/how_4520993_repl...es-subaru.html
...but that's for an Outback
Any help or pointers would be much appreciated
Cheers!
Jez

Ummm...
Done some more searching and found this...
https://www.scoobynet.com/wheels-tyr...-and-rear.html
...which also supports the settings in the Outback link. Would these be OK for an '07 model too?
Cheers

Hmmm....
Done some more searching, and found on the Ken Gilbert links for the 99-01 Impreza that the recommended torque setting is 58 +/- 7 ft.lb rather than the 33 recommended in the two links above...
Little help?

Think I'm getting there...
https://www.scoobynet.com/wheels-tyr...lt-torque.html
... states the subaru manual & autodata agree on 80nm, which is 59 lb.ft.
Left the thread up in case anyone else needs the info
