Default Correct offset for classic sti

Hi all, recently changed my alloys with some R-tec purchased ones , wheels have rubbed ever since, and have even fitted 205 to them to compensate. ive had wheel alignment and camber done. R-tec are swearing blind my car is one of the few that "are not manufactured as others???"
Basically been blown off so many times by their excuses. I am trying to get a refund and they can take their bloody wheels back.

What offset are for example, P1 alloys? Im planning on getting some money back and buy a proper set of Impreza designed wheels

Normal offset for OE spec 7.5 inch is around ET51 - ET53, IIRC P1 are ET53 7.5". You can get away with ET45 or ET48 on aftermarket 7.5" widths
The lowest you can go without rub on an 8 inch rim is ET51.
