Default Brake options.

Ok so I'm looking at front discs next week.
The car is a 99 STI type R.
I want decent brakes for the road, but also I may do some track days next year as well.
So far I'm looking at either EBC red pads with discs,Aztec grooved discs with Kevlar pads,or Godspeed grooved with Kevlar pads.

Are these good combinations or is there others that would be better.
Has anyone tried all of these?

Danny.

i would get godspeed grooved with blue ndx pads don,t bother with the reds, also make sure you have braided brake lines and quality brake fluid if going on track

Thanks mate,Godspeed it is then.
I'll have the fluid changed at the same time and get the garage to order the linings.

Cheers.

Hi
We don't recommend our kevlar sport pads for track days , they are a mild fast road pad only , we can offer you the bluestuff NDX pads along with our grooved discs which will be suitable for your use for £199 plus £12.50 P&P.

We also have in stock the new Orangestuff pads which are another step up from the bluestuff , and are getting very good feedback from everyone who has got them fitted , they were aimed at a full race pad , but they are working very well on the road even from cold , these are the same price as the blues , and I would go with these if I was you

Cheers Ian
