Default Another Brembo/wheel question :(

Sorry folks, but yep...its another Brembo question....

Ive brought a set of Gold front 4 pot Brembos. Im running Prodrive P1 OZ wheels. Ive installed the 324mm discs/pads (cheers godspeed and the caliper, but the wheel hits the caliper so wont fit.....It hits the front..where the decal is. It clears the inside of the rim nicely. Now the questions i have are....

1)why? My mate had the P1 wheels on his car and it cleared his 4 pot Brembos? Are there different sized brembos?

2)And how can i make them fit without buying new wheels?

Ive searched but couldnt find a definate answer

If i do the front, do i need to do the rear too?? If i get the hubcentric spacers, do i need to grind down the original lugs after i fit it?

P1 wheels don't clear Brembos, end of

However, the PWRC1 wheels, which are the same but available to all through dealers not just on P1's, will.

They come in WRX and STi fitment for exactly the reason of Brembo clearance.

STi fitment is ET46, and your P1's will be ET53 or ET52 (I forget) these will only clear 4 pots or non-subaru Brembos such as the Godspeed kit

Spacers are a bit of a crapper tbh, but needs must. A 5 mm spacer should do it, just get a quality one
