Rotate or not? (STi7)
#1
With just under 1000 miles, my STi 7 is showing some scrub on the front tyre edges, but not on the rear.
When is the best time to rotate them to keep the wear even (if at all?)

I always rotate the Impreza tyres frequently - every 3000 or so miles (before they get a perceptible wear pattern on them) - so I can then throw all four away together.

I don't measure when I do mine but try to swap each side over whenever I wash the car. I usually take the wheels off to clean them and do it when I put them back on.
Makes a bigger task of washing the car but so what.
It's more relevant to the general tread depth than the actual scrubbing at the edges.
I've already put an ALK on and 22mm front and rear Anti roll bars and handling is already much tighter/accurate on and out of the corners. This can drastically reduce the rate at which your outer tyre edges wear as well. Even more necessary now the car has gained so much weight.
