Default 2003 Impreza WRX - Overheating Pasenger side brakes only

Hi guys,

Have big problem with overheating on front passenger side brake only which gives off a horrible acrid odour.

Brake heats up massively after braking and has started making a clanking sound with all the heat, took off the wheel but disc and caliper look fine though i am no mechanic so visual inspection only Had my wheels balanced in Quikfit, guy made out its usually brake hoses, hydraulics etc rather than discs, pads.

Anyone got any ideas? all responses welcome to set me on right track

Thanks!!

Check piston seals and ensure pistons are moving freely. Sticking pistons are common on those calipers.
