Default handling problems with new wheels,

just fitted 17's to my classic v4 and it handles really really bad and the front end looks too high now, do i need to lower it a bit?

the 17's are standard scoob ones off a bug with brand new tyres so not sure if i should have fitted them

also wheel wobble over 50 mph but had them balanced twice and swapped backs to front and still happening

anyone got any ideas on what to do?

Classics tend to run 215/40x17 but the newage Imprezas run 215/45s.

If tyres are brand new they probably haven't scrubbed in.

Are the tyres a decent brand?

What dunx said, plus, I've had an OVAL TYRE on one of my cars, and no amount of balancing sorted it. New tyre time.

You don't say what SORT/make of tyres they are? Are they the same size as on the rear? Your "handling" issue may be down to loss of grip? I've never seen anyone say that 17"s destroy the handling, more the opposite

make sure one or more of the tyres are not misshapen of have any flat spots , i guarantee you will find a defect if you are getting a vibration and balancing doent cure it . but as for handleing . 17s should be grat on a classic
