Default New Pads?

I've got 1999 Turbo 2000 and the rear pads need replacing. Ive been looking for a non biased review of the various pads out there, but haven't been able to find what i'm looking for.

I may be able to get some pads from Break Engineering at trade prices - has anyone had any experience with these.

I'm not looking for anthing that will break the bank as my driving is all on the road, but I want something that will stop me quick if needs be.

Front pads were replaced in December before I purchaised the car, dont know what brand was used.

Thanks for any help

Rich.

If you went for OE spec pads on the front, its pointless uprating the rears. Try a couple of retailers on here for advice

The fronts do most of the braking. Match the rears to the fronts if you can.

We have a wide range of pad options available from £29.99 if needed.

Is there a way of telling what pads have been fitted to the fronts?

The pads were done as it came up as a recommendation on the MOT - I didnt request a brand of pads. Ill check my paperwork for the invoice.

I take it that standard you would supply means - Official Subaru Impreza standard. Sorry. im not up with all the terminology, im on a big learning kerb.

Also does that price include postage?

Would it be better to go for pads 'the next grade up' even though the fronts are probably standard like you suggest, or would it be better to match the pads like previously mentioned?

Dont suppose you do oil as well? want to avoid the 'value' oils!

Engine oil?

Delivery is £12.99.

Unless you are planning on upgrading the front pads anytime soon, I would stick with standard rears.

OEM spec - made to manufacturers standards.
