Which would you recommend TOYO R888 225,50,16s $1160 or 225,45,16s $1280 kiwi for a factory V6 Type R STi WRC on the stock Rays alloys with Hankook Ventus HRII 205 50 16s, the only mods are uprated STi suspension, the 45s are at the limit of my rim size dia 605 width 228 rim7.-8.5 but the 50s may be to high and wide dia628 width235 rim6.0-8. The car is 70% driven on the winding hilly roads of the Hunua ranges, Franklin and Waikato districts, 25% City/motorway, 5% track day club sprints and trials, for trials i need consistent accurate lap times, so handling and grip is most important.
