18 Inch wheel - caliper clearance on classic
Ok
Had my Speedline Corse wheels on the car for years and 2 of the alloys are buckled (and you cant get them anymore... otherwise I'd probably go for the same again)- no idea how but put it down to going over the rumble strips at Snetterton too often as I dont kerb or run into potholes that often as I hardly ever drive the old banger (99 STI5 Grey... so cant have Black/Grey/Silver alloys, only Gold or Bronze)
I have 355mm Discs with Porsche GT3 Cup Calipers on the Front (Have 330m 4 Pots on the rear.. :-) )
I'm after knowing if anyone knows which alloys gives the biggest clearance over Calipers - I currently have to use a 3mm spacer on the Front and obviously this isnt ideal (actually I reckon I could get away with about 1.5-2mm but never seen any companies selling spacers this small and... I'd still have them on)
Anyone got any recommendations?
19's are out of the question as I think they would look too big on a Classic, tyres would start to get expensive
