Warranty void if uprate brakes?
#1
I have a my99 uk turbo
disks are getting knackered
cracking at the edges.. looking well worn
the car is still in warranty
i also have the Prodive Performance Package fitted...
brakes dont feel up to it.. and its only just spring!
can i upgrade me brakes with non subaru ones without voiding me warranty...
they should give u discount on brakes if u get the PPP... they are just not up to it (after 18 miles of hard road driving)

Strictly speaking - NO
But, IM are a pretty sensible bunch at the end of the day & they're unlikely to void your warranty if you replace your brakes - not gospel of course, but based on reported experience.
Howeever, if you then try & claim something brake related on the warranty, then they're not going to pay - obviously.
Major engine upgrades then asking for a new gear-box will likely get thrown out! (example)
