NEED NEW DISCS AND PADS ON THE FRONT
Hi all,
Just bought a 2002 Bugeye and it's been suggested that I need new front Discs and pads, I spotted this;
AZTEC PERFORMANCE ONLINE STORE - WHOLESALE PRICES DIRECT TO THE PUBLIC - Brakes :: Subaru Impreza :: OEM Brake Discs & Pads :: Front Discs & Pads :: High Quality (OEM Spec) Brake Discs Subaru Impreza Turbo - 2001 & 2005 - 294mm x 24mm (vented) FRONT
Are these ok with OEM pads, I have a WRX with no mods apart from an exhaust so power is about standard.
I'm not trying to do this on the very cheap but would like to keep costs down.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I purchased a set of the uprated grooved disks from there a month or so ago....I’m very happy with them....only thing is the grooves make a slight noise that’s is only audible with the windows down (i'm a fussy git)
My recommendation would be to speak to Bob early next week...discuss with him how you use the car and what you are expecting from the brakes, any future power increases, any plans for track days etc etc and he will advise you on the best set up to get...that’s exactly what I did and as said I’m happy with the set up I have got.
As with yourself I wasn't looking to get my brakes done on the cheap...just didn't want to spend £1K+ on a full racing set up that I wouldn't get the full benefit of. Have a read of This thread, it may be of use to you.
