I have a gb 270 that unbelievably will need new tyres soon. It currently has P zeros on it.I have had yoko pradas ion a couple of cars in the past which i found very sticky but seem to remember seeing a thread on here saying they wore out super quick. I want a set of tyres that offers plenty of grip but lasts for a year at least (10k) Although i like the P zeros they are dear to replace and i dont thinnk i have had more than 6 k out of them.Vreidesteins are another i have glanced over on here and toyos but i am really stuck on what to get . i only need 3 but would buy 4 if they worked out cheaper for a full set than 3 p zeros would cost. Any help much appreciated. 225 40 18 from i think will double check when i get the car back

I am currently running Paradas which I'm happy with. The Eagle F1 GSD 3 I ran previously had the edge on grip in the wet. Paradas don't seem to be wearing excessively, certainly no more than the F1. Grip normally comes at the expense of longevity, if you want grip, expect to replace your tyres more often. Sessanta from Vredstein are highly regarded.

Vredesteins are on offer atm at camskills, absolute bargain they are ! and awesome tyres too.

Supertyres in Maldon will fit them for £40, great bunch of guys there

I have heard lots of god reports on bridgestones 'pole position' tyres although i have no idea what pattern, think i might go for the vreidesteins, just getting used to the name first !!


i am pretty sure it was my driving in france this year and the road of a thousand hairpins i went on. dont think it was the missus this time.

Currently using Vredestein Sessantas in your size and they are the best I've had so far. (fitted and balanced for under £390 at Elite in Rainham) Although Pirelli's do wear quite quickly, to get only 6k out of them means you must be a bit of a hard driver? (or trackdays?)
