2008 Impreza WRX (hatchback) - which pcd - 5x100 or 5x114?
Hi guys,
a friend of mine has a new shape 2008 Impreza WRX hatchback and would like to buy himself some new wheels.
Are the OEM rims 5x100 or 5x114?
They are 17 inch, the new wheels will also be 17` but what offset (ET) should we look for?
Here`s a photo of the car:

And the oem rim:

The std Hatch & WRX is 5x100 ET55, only the STI is 5x114 inc the new Hatch.
Why not fit 18in alloys its a lot better on them, plus they fill the arches better, & when you change the brakes, and you will, the STI brakes on the hatch won't fit under 17's on the front.
If you do go for 18's don't go for less than a 48 ET otherwise there's not enough clearence for Brembo calipers.

I had a look at one with the option of fitting my OZ wheels once purchased...
There's little room in the arches for a decent width wheel/tyre combination. Pass.
IMHO

P.S. No Brembos....
