Brakes for my classic
Hi Ian, i hear your the man to speak to about brakes.
I bought my car a while back from a guy off of here. Was told at the time that i had 325mm discs. Its a classic uk turbo with a Brembo upgrade.
The time has come for me to replace the front disc's and pads, so i'm after some advice on what to go for and of course what the price will be.
The car has a fair bit of power and is a second car so when it does get used, it gets used well. Its mainly a road car but am planning a trip to the Nurburg ring early next year and perhaps a few smaller track days here and there.
Anyway is there anything you could recommend ??
Thanks
Brad

<- with feedback like this you won't have any problems.
As you have Brembo calipers fitted then Performance Friction are unbeatable quality and last very well. Had a customer on the phone earlier ordering replacement rotors and said the last set last over 5 years with hard use! Great brakes!

What colour calipers do you have , sound like you might have one of my 325mm kits with the red brembo calipers ??
If so the 325mm rotors and a set of nuts and bolts are £295 a pair , pad wise , I would go for Ferodo DS2500's , these are a good alround pad , great for what your looking to do , and are £115 a set.
I can also supply you a 330mm disc to fit the bells , and a spacer to fit between the caliper and bracket for £295 a pair.
P&P is £15
Hope this helps
Cheers Ian

HI
Its not one of my kits , its a Red dot kit that someone else did a group buy on here years ago , your discs are 320mm , I can supply you replacement discs as a direct fit , or again , some 330mm discs to fit with spacers between the caliper and bracket , the caliper will be extended 5mm further from the bracket so will fit under your wheels , they wont be any closer to the spokes.
The cost is the same though , £295 a pair
Cheers Ian
