Default DIY 326mm STI discs onto Classic?

Anyone ever attempted to bracket up the classic to fit the 5/100 326mm discs onto a classic using the OEM Subaru 4 pots?

Just thinking of a budget upgrade!

Would be interested to know if anyone has attempted this after killing my 294 Tarox's doing 8.30btg's at the ring this year

Cheers Pete.

the main problem you will have is the STi disc is 30mm thick whilst the std 4pot disc is only 24mm...........

Fit some Brembo calipers with the discs, far better in terms of cost and performance.

Chill, Pete, when you've been around as long as I have, you'll know what the was for. Mainly 'cos you laughed at my original answer, which was there, in that form, for a reason

You aren't the first to ask that same question, and you won't be the last.

Why not? You'll GET an answer, very few people won't answer at all.

But do try to take whatever answer you get in the spirit it's meant

i would ask but i like searching first! .

i did wanna know this as i always thought about just modifying my standard brakes. does seem like a cheap effective mod. i know some people in fabrication anyway so wouldnt cost much. but the question is "has it been done and do anyone make the brackets/kit anyway?

Check out High Performance Brakes - Supplying AP and Brembo brake kits for road and motorsport use
Ian's been selling kits for this for ages.
