Default wrx brake options

Morning all,

I have a 94 wrx, and I am wondering what my options are for bigger brakes.
Is it just a case of brake kits, or is there any later impreza brakes that bolt straight on

I come from a honda back ground, were to get bigger brakes on a civic you simply bolt prelude brakes on... simples.

I am just wondering if there is any simular options for my car or would it have to be a brake kit?

Thanks. Daz

a lot depends on the style/spec of your wheels as the early cars were designed with the small 277mm 2pot brakes in mind.....................

as long as you get complete kit of calipers/discs/pads then you can simply bolt on the SUBARU 4pot 294mm kit or indeed the later gold BREMBO STi kit..........

Sorry, I have 17inch alloys.

So all I would need is calipers, carriers, disks and pads?

Thanks for the help

Don't know about carriers but when my conversion was done all i required were the calipers, discs and pads then decided to get some Goodridge hosing and some good 5.1 fluid as the 4 pots are better than2 pots but are still not that great.

As Alyn says, complete setup off newer car will fit straight on. Just ensure your wheels can clear them (esp if looking at the STi Brembos).

Subaru 4 Pots will be a big improvement and the STi Brembos, better still (bigger caliper and disc).
