Default caliper

hi, i have 95 sti. just got my car back from an engine rebuild. took it out this morning and all i herd was scratching and rubbing on the rear passenger side. i stopped the car and noticed smoke coming out from the brakes. i had new disks and pads fitted by ATS about 2 months ago. so i went back in to them and they didnt even take the wheel off. they said it was a locked caliper and would set me back £150.

i took the wheel and caliper off and pushed the piston back in.put every thing back together and its still doing it.

still a faulty caliper ? or somthing else ? any sujestions would be greatly appricated.

another note when i go round corners it seems like the wheel is loose. is this related ?

thank you

I'd be inclined to refurbish the calipers at the rear. They don't get as much use as the fronts and often seize. Kits to refusrbish them are available, dealers and Godspeed do them, afaik, Godspeed also do stainless pistons, not cheap, but it'll NEVER seize again
