Sunday's a quiet day on the technical forums. Drop Ian an e-mail at ian@godspeedbrakes.co.uk, he'll know and advise.

Hi
The rear brakes on an Sti has a larger diameter handbrake ( 190mm ) compared to the WRX ( 170mm ) , you cannot fit the STi handbrake shoes as the backplates are different , so I came up with the idea of the thicker handbrakes to make it work , the thicker handbrake shoes are £125 a set plus P&P
Hope this helps
Cheers Ian

Got Ian's kit on mine, fitting gold, (now red) Brembos to a classic and I can testify to the fact that the kit works and is dead easy to fit

Certainly is, and if you get greedy later, Performance Friction discs and pads are even better with Brembos.

Hi All,

got another one for you here....

cant see any problems fitting the fronts but on the rear the brake dust/guard plates ( not sure if thats what they are called but they sit directly behind the disc ) look as if they will catch the bigger diameter disks i want to fit how do i get round this???

thanks for any ideas on this.....
