Default Are GDA/GDB STi and WRX brakes interchangeable?

Hi,

I've got a 2001 Bugeye WRX. I've just bought a full D2 brake set up for it (8-pots front, 6 pots rear).

When the kits arrived it said 2002 to 2004 on the box. I called the supplier of the front set, he said that the GDB front set won't fit my bugeye. Then I called the supplier for the rear kit and he said that they would fit, and so would the fronts!

Now I've spent the day in the garage, fitted the front kit, no problems, but the rear drum is substantially bigger than the one on the car, also, the mounting bracket fouls on the dust shield. Obviously it's the wrong kit.

Prior to getting the D2 kit I was intending to get a used set of brembos from a GDA/GDB Sti as I was told that these will fit straight on. My question is, does the Sti have larger diameter rear drums/discs than the WRX of the same year????? If so, rear brembos from a Bugeye STi aren't going to fit either....are they
