Hi David

No they have not been sent , as you were rushing me to get them sorted , I made a mistake and buggered one of the bells up drilling them , so have to do another one now , My mistake for rushing them as I shouldn't have . so they wont be ready for a few days now sorry.

Ian, its been three days since you last replied. I'd really appreciate an update.

I wasn't rushing you, and that's certainly no excuse for you making a mistake.
I just asked you when I could expect delivery as I'd need to be at home to receive it. You told me two weeks ago it would be last Wednesday, so I stayed in all day Wednesday, and Thursday. Then when I contacted you on last Thursday, you told me it would be sent that day or the following day at the latest. So, again I stayed in all day on Monday and Tuesday of this week expecting it to arrive. Surely you must appreciate that I can't be expected to stay at home every day waiting on a delivery that hasn't even been posted out yet.
A little bit of communication would be greatly appreciated, you know my email address. I'd have preferred to have kept this between us, and not on a public forum, but you didn't answer the email I sent three weeks ago, and I noticed you always reply to questions on here.

Hi
Making custom bells is always time consuming so will have to be done when machines are free and I have time between the main work I do , In this case I have made the bells as quick as I can , and then buggered them up rushing them when setting them up on my CNC milling maching to drill them , no excuse ,
I will admit defeat on these as I am so busy doing our normal work on our popular kits I cannot get them done straight away for you , I'll refund your paypal payment for you
Cheers Ian

Will you also refund me the £340 for the disks I bought from you last year but never fitted due to the bells issue? I can send them back to you still in their original packaging.
Or, can you please send me the measurements for the bells and I'll get them done elsewhere, thanks.

Hang on a minuite , I supplied you the discs you asked for , replacement 304mm discs for an AP kit you had , it was only when you went to fit them that you realised that YOU had ordered the wrong parts , so dont make out that it's my fault , I supplied you the correctly ordered parts quickly.

When you came round to fitting them , you then realised that the kit was not an AP kit , and was not one of my kits either , this was what , 6 months ago , maybe more ?? at that time I gave you 2 options , either send me the discs back and one of your bells , and I would make you discs to fit your bells , which wouldn't cost you anymore money , or make bells that would cost you £150 a pair , you took the later option after all this time.

So no I wont accept the discs back , not after all this time after supplying them , I will send your bell that dont fit back to you , whoever does them for you can work out whats needed from there.

I have answered all your PM's giving you estaimates when your bells would be ready , I told you that I would email you the day they would be sent so you could expect them next day , so dont know why you say you were staying in waiting for them.

You haven't sent me any PM's this morning , it seems you wanted to come straight onto this thread and tell the world , you would have got an answer if you had PM'd me so don't know why your saying that I dont answer to messages except on the forum.

Anyway , I'll get the refund sorted out today , and send your bell out with our couriers tonight
Cheers Ian

Ian, why are you getting all defensive?
All I want is a pair of bells to fit the disks I bought from you. Yes I thought it was an AP kit. Please explain how its possible to tell if the disks are not genuine AP. As far as I was concerned they were. I only found out when you sent the disks with 12 studs for the bells, when mine had only 10.
Yes its been a while since i bought the disks, but I wasn't able at the time to get the disk of the car for various reasons. I couldn't afford new bells either, as I'd just lost my job. I've been unemployed for a while. It was only when I received some money at Christmas when I thought I could get the car back on the road. That's when I contacted you again by email for the bells.
I phoned you a few weeks before Christmas and you told me it would be a two day turnaround to make the bells after I send one to you for measuring. I sent the bell to you on 9th March. I found out after I'd sent it that you were away that week.
Please accept my apologies for airing our dirty laundry in public, and for my impatience. I'm still wiling to have you do the work if you can just give me an approximate time scale.

Scunnered, I see from your profile you're in Ayrshire. Would you mind if we meet up? I'm in Ardrossan. I'd like to have a look at your brakes if you don't mind.
I have AP brakes on my old car, and need new disks. I'm not sure whether to go with Godspeed or Compbrake.
My original AP disks have lasted 5 years of fairly hard use but they're now worn out.
AP are having a laugh if they think I'll buy replacements at their over inflated prices.

HI Alex, sorry mate, I've no front brakes on the car. I'm still waiting for Ian to get back to me if he's going to do the bells or not. I have a pair of disks in the boot you can have a look at. I'll PM you my phone number and we can arrange to meet. I'm only a few miles from you.
