Question

For fast road and track days, which is more appropriate, Super DOT4 or DOT5? Or doesn't it make much difference? Its just that I've managed to boil my standard DOT4 and feel a change is advisable.

AFAIK both TSL & Scoobysport recommend Silkolene Pro Race 2000.

Although it's 'only' DOT 4 it is supposed to have a higher wet boiling point than 5.1's.

Cheers
Tim

Ah that'll be the Super DOT4. Sounds good to me.

I had the Pro Race option (along with braided hoses) from TSL when I had my brakes upgraded.

Certainly improves the pedal feel.

Motul Racing brake fluid 600, DOT4, 100% synthetic, polyglycol base (you can mix it with other brands - not suggested) with the highest boiling point of all polyglycol based brake fluids: 307 Celsius degrees! IMHO Don't use silicon-based fluids.
