Maximum profile on PFF-7's
I've found out that the tyres supplied with the wheels are 225x40x18. Has anyone fitted 45 profile tyres to these alloys, I'm thinking that the extra rubber would be kinder to the alloys when I'm out b-road bashing!

Will make your speedo under-read, and I doubt you will notice, unless you like "big air", they will be slightly less harsh over bumps and ridges.
Will also slow your acceleration due to gearing changing.
I wouldn't bother, IMHO

Even on my 35's I haven't managed to damage a wheel, well alright a minor scuff on the inner edges after catching some big-air on the back roads coming south from Keilder forest....
