I printed the template from here
Subaru Impreza
and after checking I'm pretty sure they would just fit under my 17"team dynamics pro race 1's (if i add a 5mm spacer )
Definitely wont go under my standard BBS rims though so best bet is to print it and check.
Someone posted recently in the gallery section with a set of 355's under 17" compomotive MO's with a special offset

It would be interesting to see if they do fit , as Alyn I havent seen any 17" wheel fit over a 355mm kit , I had a Sierra rally car many moons ago running 17" compomotive and raceline rally wheels , and the largest kit I could fit under them with AP 6 pot calipers was 345mm , I started with a 355mm disc and machined it down until it fitted.
Let us know how you get on
Cheers Ian

It was me. We have 355 AP under 17 Compomotive MO wheels. But, they were made for us by Compomotive. We had to run with 2.5deg camber on the rear though to fit under the arches. Also had to trim the arches as the offset was so large.

If you want to, you can do it, but it's not as simple as buying the wheels and slapping them on.

17" team dynamics pro race were our first option, but we decided not to as we weren't 100% that they would fit, and also of the few sets we have had, three cracked under heavy use.

Easier to stick with 18s. Which, by the way, I have 2 sets of Prodrive OZ WRC-1 wheels for sale.

Good info above but does anybody on here know about the possibility fitting 330mm AP brakes under 17s?

I currently have a set of 18” Oz alloys on but want to use 17s for track and drag strip purposes.

I have 6 pots at the front and 4 pots on the rear and was wondering of you have to buy a particular type of wheel or should any clear them?

The 330mm AP 6 pot's fit under the standard WRX 17" wheels and under the standard STi 17" wheels. That's from personal experience.

AP quote the kit as being intended for use with 17 wheels so I'd expect it to fit wth many other types of 17" wheel. But to be sure download the tmeplate from the AP site for this kit and if it fits in the wheel then the wheel will fit over the brakes.

> thought they would be bigger than the Brembos

The problem with fitting the brembos is not the physical size fouling the inside diameter of the wheel it's that the calipers are wide and foul the back of the spokes of some wheels.

on my old cossie i was gonna get 355's for my RL7's, also comps do fit them which is why so many cossies run them

on a impreza its the offset thats the issue,,, though that said combrake seem to have smaller calipers as a mate with a escort cossy fitted 380mm discs on hes rondels,, but the AP's where too large

a guy to speak to about brakes is martin hadland from reyland as he makes brake kits/bells and sells comps and is a good engineer with things that aint ment to fit
