when i got my MY01 in April last year i had the wheels painted by the dealer (RB5 grey)

anyway after 5 months the paint was flaking so at the 7,500 service they resprayed them.

now its nearly 5 months later and the same thing is happening! i clean them once every couple of weeks with WATER and a sponge so its not me!

should i kick up a fuss or is it fair to expect a bit of flaking when the wheels have to put up with brake dust and whizzing round all day

Sounds like they did not prep them well enough before spraying.Unless you get a good base for the paint to stick to it aint going to stay put.
