Question WHEEL RUBBING

Hi guys/gals. I have fitted 7.5x18" wheels to my classic with 215/35/18 tyres. Now im a bit confused. Only the rear passenger wheel is catching the arch when i have someone in the back irrespective of which side they sit. What could this be The car is lowered on cusco springs about 30-40mm.

I had a similar problem

my car is dropped quite a way on verus coilovers and I am running 17s with 215/40s, it only rubbed on the drivers side

I took the easy but slightly more expensive fix and had the lip in my arches tucked, problem solved

Have you had the geo set up? Ypu might find a bit of negative camber might help,as it will lean the wheel in a bit.
Look at this, may be of interest.

other than if you set it up to be rock solid, how is different suspension going to stop the wheels catching the arches?

what offset are on your wheels wrx287 ?

because coilovers have more stiffness setting and less body roll, you cant have it set too hard as you could damage a coilover and the ride wouldnt be comfortable . so coilovers will stop the wheels catching arches you can always roll the back arches to help it

mark V4, as previously mentioned I have coilovers, I am sorry but to me what you say just does not make sense, as I said other than making the car rock solid I just dont see how its possible for different suspension to stop the wheels from catching

wrx287, what scoob do you have? classic, bug or newage?
what suspension do you have? how low is the car? do you have adjustable top mounts?

if you have adjustable top mounts or another way of doing it you could try dialing in a little negative camber on the rear and see if that stops the wheels from catching

the only other option I know other of than raising the car up would be would be having the arches rolled
