Default biggest discs for twin pot front calipers

Anyone know what are the largest diameter discs which can be used with the standard twin pot front calipers on the GC8 (16" wheels)? Would they require spacing brackets to mover the calipers out a bit? I'm asking because I suspect hopefully that disc diameter is as important as number of pistons in the brake caliper. I say hopefully because of the price of decent 4 pot calipers.

I just saw a recent Honda S2000. Has twin pots on the front, but big discs.

cheers

Default largest disc

The largest diameter disc you can fit under a 16" 5 spoke Subaru Wheel is 308mm, you would need to make a bracket that moved the calliper out from the hub by 15.5mm. i did look into this myself and the work involved did not seem worth it. so i opted for the easier fit of Std 4 pots.

Cheers
