What do you need to fit Brembo on a MY99.

A bracket made for the job.
I'm sure Ian at Welcome To Godspeed Motorsport will do them.

You'll need brackets for either.

Fronts are a direct replacement with corresponding discs and brembo caliper mounting bolts.
Rears require wider hand brake shoes and a mounting bracket from someone like godspeed c.£195

Mine fitted fine on the front. Unless the MY00 have different hub carriers

I have standard multispoke wrx wheels that use a 10mm spacer with longer wheel studs. Fit fine.

Saving up for different wheels but to be honest, I can't tell any downsides in handling/braking from the oe track dimensions.

Rears need brackets and larger handbrake shoes. I have a kit that I bought from Ebay saving me about £50 on other makes. Comes with brackets, spacers, shoes, bolts; everything you need to fit the rear brembo set up onto a classic.

There are a couple of really good guides as to how to fit the rears on here, try a quick search, see what crops up

I stand corrected then. I thought you had to have the brackets on the front for fitting brembos to any classic.
Glad I'm wrong, as I'm in the market for some, and factored in the cost for that too.

UK or Import STi?

STi with R180 rear Diffs and hubs DO NOT NEED BRACKETS,handbrake shoes, etc as the OE Brembo Rear calipers and Discs fit straight on.
