I never liked these tyres, poor grip and very noisy.
Tyre Bridgestone Potenza RE050 reviews - hundreds of tyre reviews and ratings for car and track tyres
I would be looking at Vredestein Sessantas for your next set, grippy and low road noise I have them on MY06 STi.
Tyre Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta reviews - hundreds of tyre reviews and ratings for car and track tyres

I've replaced them with Eagle F1 GSD3s on my last 2 Imprezas. The Eagle is far better tyre in the wet, far more grip. The F1 also has a stiffer sidewall (92 load rating) so slightly noisier but less "flex" when cornering. I tried RE040 which I preferred to the 050 again as they had stiffer sidewalls
