Caliper paint
Guess it been asked before but not be me 
Okay to save on words :
1. Where from ?
2. How much ?
3. Brush or spray ?
3. What colour (car is sonic blue and has 18" gold wheels brakes are subaru 4 pots and standard discs), was think towards redish red
. ?
4. Finally .... How many coats to I need and do I need to avoid painting certain bits ie. should a mask bit out. (brakes wont be on the car)

Afraid to say but Halfords is good bet, paint made by Folitec ( or something like that ) its German and ist wery gud yah.
Did mine in red about 18 months ago and still as good as day it was done. Better to wait for the warm weather and follow the instructions to the letter. Can be done on the car. Have a pic if you want it.

I used hammerite, from B&Q. £5.99 a tin.
Cleaned all the crap off with light sandpaper. 2 coats of black all over. Got an artists brush and did the lettering in red and the lines in white. Looks amazing.

I used hemerite on a set of calipers once which looked great but when I decided to bleed the brakes at a later stage I found that the brake fluid striped off the paint. You cant avoid brake fluid coming out of the base of the bleed nipple where it screws into the caliper when bleeding brakes.
Proper caliper paint is supposed to resist brake fluid. I have used the folatec and seems very good.

they are in the garage waiting to be fitted. You could do it on the car but you couldn't do the whole calliper (if that matters to you!) and I would be a bit wary of dripping onto the pads. It dries in 15 mins though so you could do...
