2 Pot brakes HELP
#3
Cant really help as I have subaru 4 pots and dont think much of these, so my advice would be to put up with your 2 pots until you can afford AP's.
You can get a big disk upgrade for the 2 pots but I think its fairly expensive, and you may have to have bigger than std wheels.
Check www.godspeegbrakes.co.uk

I had the same problem with stopping and 2 pots. Check that the pads are not betta part or similar, £30 cheepie or £100 Dealer some people choose poorley.
Also check the sliders as these tend not to, Check the disk thickness, min 21mm so im told.
Or as I did EBC Turbo groove discs and redstuff pads. Much better and still with 2 pots.

Miggs,
I'm in the same boat as you so I've just ordered the Pagid Group N+ kit (with uprated discs, pads, hoses and fluid) from Scoobysport for £365. It won't be anywhere as good as the 6 pot AP kit obviously, but it's supposed to be far better thanm the standard stuff. The service manager at the local Subaru dealership has also strongly recommended getting a brake support bracket as well as the above - all this after talking me out of the official Prodrive brake upgrade! Who said dealers are out to rip you off....
