Hi all,

I got some STi 4 pots for my 96UK and need to get some discs. I don't know what MY they came off so I dont know what size discs to buy. I measured the ones that came with them and they are 245mm, but all the ones for sale on web sites seem to be bigger.

Can anyone help?

I believe they are 295 x 24.

If you are looking for discs I have been speaking with Woodford Garage Motorsport 01803 863958, who will supply 8 grooved discs (german TUV approved) for £110. They will also do Mintex / Forodo pads to suit for £80 to £110ish.

Cheers

Hi Mark, you've been spending again then!
As far as I know there is no difference between any of the discs, as long as the car was fitted with the four pot calipers, then I'm 99% sure that all the discs were the same, might even be the same as the 01 aswell.

You need to speak to someone who has performed this, as the caliper will have to be relocated to accept the bigger disc. I think the 2 pots used a 276mm disc, and you will be moving up to a 295mm disc. You need a 16" wheel or bigger also.

Hi Ron,

Got them a while ago so just geting ready to fit them! I will post some pics as I have cleaned them up, re-painted them and done he writing in red. Trainspotter?!

Garry, no probs there as I have 18" monsters! (wheels  )
All will have to do is fit the callipers with the matching discs and remove the old 2 pots, so wont have to re-locate them as such. This bit I can do, being a clanky!

They are 295 x 24 as you say, got a decent measuring tape on them last night. Going for some black diamonds or Tarox 40's.
