I rang Prodrive about 18 months ago (before I discovered Scoobynet and they said best tyres to upgrade to are P Zeros for a standard or modded Impreza. I took their advice and had four fitted. They wear well but the grip in the wet on hard corners is cr@p. Straight line traction is good though as is dry grip, but in hot weather they understeer more than the standard Bridgestones that were fitted. Point I am making is that in the latest Subaru accessories brochure they are STILL offering these tyres with their WR Alloy wheels and OZ alloys. Anyone else had any experience of PZeros ?

Yorkie,Hi I thought it was just me absolute #### done 14,000 miles cant wait to get shut lethal in the wet, squirmy, just horrible . Tyres are 225/40x18 on Prodrive rims, East German tractor tyres are better IMHO of course.

I think everyone on here can vouch for their lack of wet grip. I swapped mine after spinning car (wasn't really pushing it)... luckily no damage done but wasn't going to risk it again. I now have toyo's. much better in wet and not far off as good in dry.
much cheaper too.

Have to agree. Can't wait to get rid of them of my 16" winter rims.

Get toyo's, or if you have money to spare, Bridgestone S02's (better than S03's IMHO)

get the S03s - they are better simply because you will be able to get a replacement if you have to (for wahtever reason).

no telling when the S02 will finally diappaear from the market place.

honestly, there is not a lot in the perf difference - and the S03 is WAAAY better than the Pzero. nuff said before it gets into another of those x vs. y flame-a-thons.

Had Pzero rossos on Carolyn's MY01, horrible things, replaced with Toyos which streets ahead - and S03 on my MY01, and they are also excellent.
