I am about to change the front disks and pads as they are past there best. Just wanted to know when the caliper is removed does the disk just come off or is it held on with anything.

Thanks Stuart

The disk will just fall off when you remove the calliper.

Nothing goes to plan. The disks had welded themselves to the hub with rust. I used a hammer but it still wouldnt budge. Then I noticed there were 2 holes in the disk with a thread in them. I found a bolt with the same thread and screwed it in and hey presto the disk came away. I had been using wonderwheels on the alloys and I think it made the disk and hub corrode and lock together.
this is quite a good tip if you have the same problem removing your disks.
