electronic brake force distribution on MY07 WRX
my GB270 sportswagon seems to need a very hard push, on the brake pedal, to warm up the rear discs.
has anyone else experienced this on the new age and EBD fitted WRX?
my Spec B Legacy, also with EBD, warmed the back brakes almost as much as the fronts.

checked rear discs just by comparing the touch temperature of the discs, between the fronts and rears, after a decent run and a few relatively hard stops just before parking.
i was under the impression that EBD used the rear brakes more, in day to day driving, than a non EBD system.
it may all be linked to load as most of the time i am the only occupant and carry little or no cargo - so probably in those coonditions it is safer to mainly use the front brakes?.
there is some 'articulated arm gizmos' on the front and rear supension that i presume are there to give loading indicator to the EBD?

fronts do around 75% (or more) of the braking, even with EBD..
rears will not really get that much heat, the reason why rear pads last 2-3x fronts (at least..!).
When I uprated fronts to AP's I did notice the std rear disc's became more shiny than before. Used to always have a slight tarnished look.
The last thing you want is the rear brakes to lock, very dangerous, hence the large front bias..!
