Planning to fit 17 inch rim 2000 from team dynamics but those have a 45mm offset. Some people say everything between 45 an 55 mm will fit but I'm wondering if this will upset the geometry, keep in mind I live in Belgium so the roads are a little better. Does anyone know something about the handling after fitting these kind of offsets or has the same wheels fitted.
Also while fitting new wheels planning to go for the eibachs and uprated discs, tarox or EBC turbo and EBC greenpads(or they up for the extra performance)and the powerengineering brake bracket.
Anyone suggestions?

Thanks, Crazy

Thumbs up

Hey,
got me a MY00, lefthand drive because I live in Belgium fitted with a Superchip(no problems so far but am planning to replace it cause most of you think this mod is a bit risky) and until someone has a better sugestion I'm gonna fit a Revolution exhaust.(maybe HKS hyper)
Impreza's aren't too big overhere so hope all of you could help me with my questions (got lots of them).

Crazy, so you have two problems with these wheels (although I am not familiar with them). They may not clear your front 4-pot calipers but chances are they will. However, ET45 is very wide and there's very little room under those rear arches. You'll almost certainly get rubbing with a heavy load or hard cornering. You might be lucky as some tyres are narrower than others (not always the size they're marked!) or if it's a Euro-spec car you can remove the plastic trim above the wheel arch to get a couple more mm of clearance. ET50-53 seems to be the only off-sets that I've not heard give any rubbing problems. I would pass on these wheels unless you can actually get to drive them on your car before buying.

Richard.

Hi Crazy
Fitted Rim 2000 to my MY97 WRX fitted with 215/40/17 Eagle F1s
No problems with rubbing when cornering hard and fully loaded.
Clear 4 pots with room to spare.
Hope this helps
Gary

Thanks both,

Gary and if you lower the car with some eibachs?
Also someone told me it could make the car feel skidderish, got this problem?

Crazy (probably going for the anthracite ones under my silver gray scooby)
