Streight swap,

The Calipers bolt streight on, You'll need to remove the dust guard off you hubs, The discs and pads only need changing if they are warn otherwise they fit no problem.

The biggest factor is your wheels, You need 17" with the correct offset to clear brembos, You need to find a set which have plenty of clearance behind the spokes.

Yes wheel problem has to be addressed. Easiest solution is STi wheels. I measured the lateral clearance of the spokes in my old 17" wheels and it is 40mm from hub face. The Brembos only have 2mm to spare so they stick out 38mm beyond the hub face. Genuine 18" PFF7s and Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 18x8 45mm offset both clear.

I have inovite 18" PFF7 copies and they clear with loads of space, but the 17" don't and require a 5mm spacer

strictly speaking its not the offset that matters, its the spoke design/clearance that counts.................as mentioned above

I've looked into this quite a bit and it seems calipers up to and including 2004 MY are kosher to bolt straight on, 2005 and on won't. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheers

Luke

The calipers are all the same but you need to use the bolts provided with the calipers.

Mine are off of a 06STI and fitted streight on once I had the discs redrilled with the correct PCD
