Default Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD2/3

Please does anyone know the difference between Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD2 and Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 (extra load) tyres? I've been offered the GSD3 for £95.18 fully inclusive and the GSD2's are £100.93. So not too much in it but I'm not sure which to go for. Tyre size is 215/45/17.

Thanks.

GSD2 is the older version (different compound and lower load rating). GSD3 XL is the one to go for on that tyre size.

Cheers,

Stewart.

Thanks Stewart, they're the cheaper ones too so it's a double bonus!

I got my last set of GSD2's for £80 per corner fitted by Bracknell Tyres. So you may be able to get a better deal.
