Default Parada spec 2's

Anyone running these on 18's on a Hawkeye Sti ?

Just wondered what people thought the optimum pressure was on 225/40/18's- i know it's a personal thing but any experienced users' advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hi I have the same size on MY03 Sti and I am running 34 front and 32 rear. I find a good compromise, I started at 30/30 then 32/30 and ended up at 34/32. It really is personal preference though. Hope this helps

As other have said it's a personal thing, my car had 28/28 filled wioth nitrogen but was been tracked often!
On the road im using 32/32 cant understand running fronts harder than rears it will induce understeer

Nice soft front will help turnin in much the same way a stiffer rear ARB will

I run uprated arbs front and rear, also alk and lots of negative camber at the front. uprated springs aswell. I have done this on newage and classics I have had and always found the tyres better harder at the front. Again I think its personal. Cant say my car understeers much at all

It was explained to me by a bloke who works at Silverstone (he set my car up for track) soft front will give oversteer and help turn in, soft *** end will make it understeer, stiffen your rear ARB to max and see what happens!!

Cheers all,

Have been running my 17" Bridgestones at 34/32 and was gonna stick with the same for the 18" Parada's unless someone who has them says otherwise.

Will stick with this and see what i think. The other option was 32/32 - will try both at some point.

I too have experienced scuffing of the edges on previous cars if the fronts are a little under inflated.

Cheers
