Anyone got gold plated discs with gold wheels? Wondering what this would look like instead of the usual silver discs

Thinking of getting some 3G 20 grove discs with gold protective plating

If anyone has any pics please post them up

Any plating on the brake surface is going to come off at the first application of the brakes thus leaving you with metal surfaces again.

The only coating left will be around the edge of the disc and the bell/hub area.
You could just paint these areas in the gold hammerite but NEVER the braking surfaces.
