Default 4 pot calipers

Hey up,
Havin a right dilemma here....can someone please tell me if 4 pot calipers on a classic are really that much better than 2 pots?Its just that i've got chance to buy a pair but my mate says his scooby with 4 pots aren't what everyone raves about!

Having come from 2 pots (93wrx) and fitting 4 pots (uprated pads,goodridge hosing) they are miles better.
You have to careful though as they won't fit under 15" wheels.I had a set of 16" (non subaru and the buggers fouled on the calipers) so i had to get some late model (post 98) Subaru alloys.
You could have a look at Godspeed as they do a big brake kit for good money

Looks like 4 pots are the way to go.....especially with me going Nurburgring in June.
