I have the setup which fits under 16" wheels. Very impressive on both road and track. The two part disc (seperate rotor and bell) is the way to go, no more warp!

Try searching about them, you'll find loads of glowing reports.

Not related to scoobs but I had their cosworth conversion on my escort turbo which was purely a track car. 3 years of abuse, never warped, excellent. Took a bit of grinding to get the kit to fit, but other than that, excellent.

Didn't realise they now did scooby stuff, must get myself along there again.

i think TSL are planning on trying these brakes out on Scooby's before they sell them, it may be good to give Trouser at TSL a ring to see wot he thinks.

i may go down the Godspeed road if they perform as well as the TSL group N discs they sell at the mo.

I have the 335mm Godspeed kit front and standard sized Godspeed discs rear grooved and ventilated with standard MY00 calipers stripped and reprayed under 17in Superleggerras. They do look the bizz and work fine. You sometimes feel like you're trying to cut a couple of furrows into the tarmac when you really try the emergency stop. No fading although I haven't tested the kit on the track yet. RON has the kit also and is impressed. It is hand made by an enthusiast who is more concerned about quality than quantity, hence the odd delay in receiving delivery unless you go to Wales. However, well worth it IMHO.

Have just had Ian's 325mm kit with his calipers fitted.
Can't comment on trackday use as I'm not planning any (but there's still time ) and I'm still bedding them in and awaiting some braided hoses. But first impressions are so far very good.

I wish I could comment on Godspeed brakes, but I'm not able to yet.

I ordered a 355mm kit over 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting.
When I ordered them Ian said about 5 days !!!! I was then told they should have been sent out on 30th November !!!!

I know Ian went on holiday immediately after this date (probably with my £850), but so far has not returned my e-mails or telephone calls.

Anyone had any similar problems?
Did you resolve them quickly?
Did you resolve them peacefully?

Simon

Would someone be kind enough to give the site address for Godspeed so that I can view their brake products.

I'll just add my 2p then.

I also got the 335mm kit fitted under my 17" SuperLs along with braided hoses.

Stopping power now they are bedded in is awesome. Thing that has amazed me most is how smooth and true the stopping is. On my stock MY00 brakes a big stop was a full-on drama, but these stop faster without any drama at all. I'd like a bit more of a firm peddle with less initial travel, but I don't know if that is possible?

And yes, they do look the nuts!

Hi guys,
I too have the Godspeed kit (308mm X 32mm) and the stopping power is awesome! Even after 10-12 laps of Knockhill there was little or no fade (normal cars had brake pedals on floor by this time!)

Buy them - you'll not regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool

Evo6`s are notorious for warping disc`s, theres a guy on the Lancer forumns who uses The Ring constantly, he fitted the Godspeed brakes after several other make of discs had warped, and guess what?...the didnt warp at all! My uprated grooved Ralliart(Manufactured in fact by Pagid with Pagid Blue Pads) discs have warped also,so as soon as i get the brass together i`m off to Godspeed also.

Rich.
