Default Red Dot Racing 6 groove disks, direction

Anyone know what the design of these is i.e. which what they should be fitted to expel heat/gases? I dont know if I have them on the right way and wondered if anyone knows exactly which way the grooves should face.

I know the vents are the only relevent point but dont know which way the vents flow?

Cheers,
Gaz

As the discs turn the vents need to move towards the outside. So they need to point in the opposite direction to the discs rotation. As usual a pictures a million times easier than trying to explain so here's one.

Straight grooves point forwards at the top. Curved grooves, the opposite! Not totally sure why!
