Default Which break pads?

Have noticed my brake pads are in need of a change soon, which are the best to go for? Are greenstuff the best? or redstuff? i know they are good but i dunno whats best or which to go for, also any good places to go to for a good prices?

any help will be much appreciated.

Assuming you have a Impreza Turbo, Greenstuff are not recommended. If you ever want to go on track go for Yellowstuff. If you only want to use on the road Redstuff Ceramic.

Tried redstuff on mine and I thought they were rubbish, wooden feel to the pedal, didn't work from cold, then faded soon after they got up to temperature.

Check out the history on here, I'm certainly not the only one with this view, things have got decidedly heated in the past on the subject. Ignore anything posted by people with a vested interest, ie they sell them, and listen to people who've used them. Some like them, many don't.

Ferodo DS2500 or mintex M1144 or 1155 seem to get the best reviews from the majority on here. Or if you're feeling really flush try pagid RS4-2-1, I use them and they're superb, lovely pedal feel, great modulation, work perfectly from cold, never faded at all. What more could you want from a brake pad? No involvement other than a satisfied user.

Just fitted ebc yellow stuff in my ap 6 pots must say that the new compound yellow stuff pads are awesome great fade resistance and lovely pedal feel.They don't squeel like the previous ferodo DS2500 pads i was using perform equally as well don't produce anywhere near as much brake dust and were 75 pounds instead of 218 pounds. I'll never bother using anything else in future!!
