Good price but personally would choose the grooved option only.

Drilling can crack.

I just bought some 8-groove discs for my MY01 WRX from AS Performance for £135, a good alternative to standard discs at a reasonable price. They also do standard OE replacements pretty cheap (sorry can't remember the price).

I went for these discs and a good set of pads (Pagid 421 black's), which should be a good improvement over the standard setup.

Prodrive Motorsport Sales are having a stock clearance of 'slow moving' GpN parts at the moment. Standard OE Subaru WRX 2001+ discs are only £27 front and £26 rear each + VAT. They would term these 'Gravel' spec parts. Infinitely better than anything you will buy in the aftermarket. We have won the ANCRO GpN Production cup in 2006 using just 1 set on the car ALL YEAR!! .

Yeah, Maybe you're right in that you can only buy them if you have a motorsport parts account at Banbury. I suppose that this stops a main dealer (sorry stealer!) from being undercut. It does however show what a ripoff 'normal' prices are though!!. If you know a local team that runs a GpN Impreza get them to buy you a set....

So now that you have rubbed in the cost of disc from Prodrive Motorsport Sales, that most of us cannot get our hands on , do you think maybe you might be able to let us know were else in the uk were you can get some decent disc's at a reasonable price.

Main dealer Quoted me £48 + vat for the disc's & £86 + vat for the pads, I did'nt think this was too bad for main dealer prices
