Question Hub assembly

I've been offered a set, but there's some confusion.

Is there a abs hub and a non abs hub. I can't see it myself but am being told by a impreza guru there is. Is a non abs hub the same as an abs hub, but without the hole for the sensor.

Not sure that makes any sense

Does anyone know?

Thanks Phill

Yes some hubs have no hole for a sensor , and some have a hole so the sensor points at an abs ring fitted to the back of the drive flange , and some have a hole in the hub that points inward towards the cv joint so everything is hidden , but as far as I am aware the hubs are all interchangable , the only difference is on the MY05 onwards STi as they changed the PCD of the wheels studs
