Goodridge Braided hoses to fit 2001+ sti brembo
I was planning to fit these hoses on my 02 sti v7 but was told that they wont fit because the front hoses are wrong should be the banjo type like the rears instead of the angled union bolt i was sent is this right any help would be great.

Looks like the same kit i have to fit on mine, you should have 2 "male to male" adoptors for the fronts, i believe these go into the end of the brake line and screw directly into the caliper instead of the bolt the banjo fitting attaches to.

Banjo's front and rear are whats required for 4-pots and Brembo's (not sure about the old 2-pots) normally.
Although as turboDean has mentioned you can get male-to-male inserts which you screw into the caliper where the banjo bolt would normally fit. The caliper end of the insert has a tappered thread IIRC.

that looks like a specific kit that Goodridge did to fit aftermrket brembo's to certain cars (like the old Scoobysport, Godspeed kits, etc.)
the correct fit kit for your car simply has a banjo fitting all round..............
